I wrote previously about the Jyotisha chart as a 2D shape that describes to us astrologers a 3D reality, one that may lead us to higher dimensions.
What I am now finding is that there is even more to this simple 2D shape. A review: the kundali image (coming from the same root as kundalini, meaning a coiled serpent) of the empty Jyotish chart
You can see here the 4 squares of the kendras and the 8 diamonds of the other houses.
Physicists recognize this yantra-like cuboctogon that is the Jyotisha chart: it is the very form of the "vector equilibrium" - the only shape that represents equal length and strength vectors in all directions: "The underlying structure of the torus [seen also in the meditating human] is the Vector Equilibrium, or “VE.” It is the blueprint by which nature forms energy into matter. Buckminster Fuller, one of the 20th Century’s most prolific inventors, coined the term Vector Equilibrium. He named it this because the “VE” is the only geometric form where all forces are equal and balanced. The energy lines (vectors) are of equal length and strength." -From The Code / Fundamental Pattern - Nature appears to rely on ... "Practical applications of the VE include Fan and Propeller Technologies, 'New Energy' Devices, Philosophy, Non-violent Self Defense, Collaborative Tools for Organizations." - Ibid. Some even say that interstellar travel may depend on the Vector Equilibrium. The famous Jyotish chart,
can be seen as an orthographic projection:
Some notable points from the video include Buckminster Fuller's statement, "A star. Anything can happen," the observation that it may contain a hypercube, and that the vector edges add up to 27. These may represent the 27 nakshatras, and perhaps we can multiply them by four for the four dimensions of the hypercube. The magic number of 108 would be the result. "The Vector Equilibrium is the zero starting point for happenings or nonhappenings. It is the empty theater, the empty circus, the empty Universe ready to accommodate any act and any audience." - Buckminster Fuller Combine this statement about the empty chart, this empty stage, with the notion of the leela, the grand play that we are said to be, for a stunning cohesion between a great scientist's artistic imagination and the self-consistent and self-aggregating knowledge of the ancients. |
