Very light, the particular bangle for vatas shown on this page is composed only of strands of 24 kt gold, 99.9%+ fine silver and 99.9% copper, each of the same specific weight. You will be the first person to ever wear it.

Starting length is 16 inches, as measured before twisting. After twisting it reduces by 10% or so to a final length of approximately 14 inches. The design is meant to wrap over twice around a typical vata wrist.
If you still want a larger or smaller length, let Renay know. That is no problem. The cost will just go up or down linearly, and Renay will make a custom listing for you.
Interestingly, in the over nine months of constantly wearing the bangle, people are saying that the bangle does not show signs of causing a green color to rub off on the skin. This is so also for the woman who usually gets a strong rash when she wears copper.

Postscript: Common questions have been coming up of the actual amount of metal in the bangle and how one may expect any results if the total amount of gold differs. This tells me that I am not giving a full enough description.
As the price here is 1/11th or so of the "regular" bangles, so too is the amount of gold. That is to say, there is actually approximately 1/11th of a troy ounce of 24 kt gold in the vata bracelet. The weight of fine silver and pure copper in the bracelet are each the same as well to allow for equal specific weights while still being significantly more affordable.
Important reminder: the 16 inch length actually is for the wires used before twisting, The final bracelet length will be somewhat reduced, typically by 10% or less.
It was an experiment to see if the smaller total weight than the "regular" bangles would still have an effect if the bracelets were made under proper muhurta and mantra, and that seems to be the case.
Why do I name these bangles for vatas, pittas, and kaphas?
It has been my experience in the over three years of making these bangles that people with kapha prakriti do well with a matching thicker and more substantial bangle.
Pittas do well with the perfectly proportioned medium bangle, and pure vatas could get the lightest one to match their constitution.
I believe rather strongly from training in Ayurveda and from reading masterworks on this topic, that the mixture of gold, silver and copper altogether is what is necessary for the functioning, however mysterious, of the bracelet. It is true that copper and even silver are very inexpensive (in relation to gold), but they still have strong healing and balancing effects in Ayurveda.
As to how the bangle functions, Shri Paramahamsa Yogananda simply says that the bangle acts like a lightning rod for the astral body, directing the most strong forces away from it. I am also reminded of a conversation I had on this topic with an engineer. He said that whenever 2 or more metals come together, a magnetic field is developed.
I love what the SRF do, are, and represent and do not want to take a penny from their treasury. This bangle is just an option if more 24 kt gold is simply, practically too much.
