Ga-na-nam
A strategic card game inspired by Vedic mathematics. (Gananam is a Sanskrit word related to numbers.) Experience the ancient wisdom of Vedic mathematics in a modern, competitive card game that will challenge your mathematical intuition and strategic thinking!
About This Game
Ga-na-nam is a clever mathematical card game that combines strategy, probability, and number theory in an engaging format for 2-7 players. Inspired by ancient Vedic mathematical principles, this game challenges players to think strategically about prime numbers, divisibility, and tactical card play.
How to Play
Race to collect five prime numbers in your hand to win! But it's not just about luck – every turn involves strategic decisions about which cards to play and when.
Try to pick up primes and get rid of your non-primes.
Core Mechanics:
- Players alternate to choose cards to play face-down each round
- When cards are revealed, check which numbers divide into others
- Earn bonus cards based on how many other players' cards your number divides into
- Prime numbers always return to their owners, adding a layer of protection
- Manage your hand carefully – lost cards mean drawing replacements
